The drama production is over. It had been very stressful completing it. How do you feel being part of the drama production and what have you learnt?

JianShu
Being the PM of the class production, I feel very proud and honoured being part of it. Equipped with our class unity and cooperation, we managed to show our remarkable drama in front of the lower secondary. I have learnt that I have to uphold a sense of responsibility, and a clear decision making for the group leaders for every group. There must be teamwork in the class in order to produce a play. In contrast, I have also learnt that we should plan everything before starting on the work given, instead of doing it in the last minute. Through a week of intense rehearsal, the actors managed to memorise their lines and the props team managed to complete their props needed. I could say they are highly professional. There is room for improvement of time management as we was fooling around during disscusions and was oblivious to the sense of urgency. With assistance from Mdm Annesah and mdm nisha, the class play was a huge success, that left the lower secondary and the literature judges a vivid and deep impression if our class. The class production was a barrier for the class to overcome and so we did emerging the FIRST in the express level. It is indeed an eye opening experience for me, to showcase our talent in terms in stage or in behind backstage. Overall, the sweat and toil that we sacrificed are worth it as the class became much more united and bonded. There's a saying-"Success is not measured by what you accomplish but by the opposition you have encountered, but the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against the overwhelming odds." -Orison Swett Marden. Staying united as one to overcome all odds, winning and losing does not matter, but the process through the thick and thins with the class.

Genevieve,
I feel that our hardwork have finally paid off and we could see the fruits of our labour. There were alot of problems we had to face and learned how to overcome them. Although we worked very hard, we also had fun doing the props. It was a meaningful and enjoyable experience.

WeiHao
Being the assistant PM of the class is not EASY as it was quite hard trying to coordinate everyone to work and have to help out if problems occurred in different group. Although it was quite tiring, but seeing our hard work pay off ,as the production was a success, i was quite happy. Through this production, i have learnt that if we were to work in a group or as a class. Cooperation and coordination were two important factors of doing the project well. If without cooperation and coordination, the project would be in a mess as no one does what he or she should do. Overall this project was quite a fruitful experience.

Shi Hui,
The class play was not as easy as everyone thinks it is. After many weeks of hardwork, our effort are definitely paid off during the 15 minutes play. Everything was did last minute, as many of us slack alot during the early period. But after the script was changed, and after a few sessions of scoldings from the teachers, we woke up and started working very hard. The props team did all the props only one week before the play. And everyone was surprise that the props team manage to finish the props in the limited time we had. As our group leader did not organise the group properly, we wasted 1 months time doing nothing except talking stuffs that are not related to the project. But knowing that time is very tight, he started asking us to stay back after school to complete the props. The props team stay back almost everyday untill evening. There were many disagreements and quarrels in the group and many were not co-operating. And many problems occured such as, time limitation, not enough man-power, materials needed are not enough etc. So, we solved problems by problems. Even people who are not in our group came to help us (eg. Assistant PM, PM, Actors etc). We had many rehearsals before the play and we are the only class which can use microphones for all the rehearsals. Thanks to the stage management team. Although there may be many ups and downs in this project and very stressful, i still had alot of fun doing it. And i believe everyone does too. After this project, i realise that the class is more bonded. This project allows me to experience alot of things that people of my age can't. After all, i still think that this project is a very fruitful experience.

Afiqah
I think that having this kind of project work is really good for us.we gained new experiences. it is not always that we can produce a play.i am glad that everyone was involved somewhat in this production. i've learnt towork with someone whom i am not close to and work as a team.

Hakim
The drama production had woken up some of us. During the initial planning, we were all constantly fooling around. This led to us being behind schedule for our production. We had about three rehearsals and we had to attend them. Our other commitments would have to wait. Everybody did their best and that was the only thing that mattered. Being successful does not mean you must be the top or the first. Rather, success comes only if we did our best. That is something that I learnt.

Annmaria
I think the whole play turned out really well. we put in all our hardwork to make this a sucessful play. i think this project work has really helped us bond as a class and i am now able to work with more people. although there were glitches and it was not very smooth-sailing, we still managed to have fun and put together a great play:D

Irene
I've learnt it is not an easy job to put up a play. Especially when there is a need to work with a group and as a group. As i'm in the stage managemet, i experienced some technology problems. but we still managed to overcome all problem on the actural day

GuangWei
I feel that no matter how small your part or job is, each and everyone of us is important. we must work as one to produce such a sucessful drama and even though we had many rehearsals and many of us complained, it still paid off.

Jackie
I feel glad that i was able to take part in the class drama production. from the play, i have learnt that preparing for a class production was not easy and requires a lot of time and effort.
Although we had a lack of time preparing for the production, we still made it as we cooperated with one another. It was really fun acting in the drama and it gives a very good sense of achievement

Natasha
I really love acting in the play even though i only acted as a mother in 2 scenes. The play was MIND BLOWING and all of us had a great time. Everyone worked hard for their contribution in our 2E2 Class Production. The play was a succesful one. We had to sacrifice our time for the rehersals.I would like to thank the props people for making the stage beautiful.I also want to thank the publicity team for sacrifising alot of their time for making the colourful roses and puting up flyers around the school.Last but not least, thanks actors and actresses,Mdm Aneesah and Mdm Nisha as without you this play would of not been succesful.Oh ya,thanks to whoever that bought the sweets as that really attracted the Sec 1's attention.Even though if the Sec 1's choose or didn't choose us to be the winner, all us us paid of our hard work. But we all know who is winner,of course it's US!!

ZheXian
learn a lot from the drama production. From it I learn that not everything is smooth-sailing and although the play just lasted for a short 15 minutes we had to put in weeks of works to complete it. At first all the publicity team guys were fooling around but daryl words woke us up and we decided to work hard after that. We had to spent lots of time on the rehearsal and we even had to stay back after school all this causes lots of inconvenience as I had tuition quite a few time in a week but I still manage. So overall this drama production was a success and I feel that all we put in was not wasted

Daryl
Being part of the class production in the publicity team, I felt that it's not an easy task organising a group, especially when the group is noisy and the members are discussing with each other about other stuff beyond the project. As a leader of the group, I learnt that cooperativeness of the group members is exceptionally important for group discussions to be carried out. Also, i felt that time planning is needed so that we can avoid problems such as time shortage which can be encountered in such project work. Although i met obstacles during the project work, I still managed to overcome them. This project may be tough and competitive, but i think that it is worthy for us to sacrifice for it as our effort will eventually pay off. This project let me gain an enriching experience and I felt honoured to be able to participate in it.

Cheryl
I feel that all we have been through is worth it although it was time consuming. I feel proud to be part of the class production. Along the way we meet lots of obstacles but we manage to get over it as we work together as a class. After this I am more confident of getting along with my classmates, now I can communicate with my classmates more easily. Overall it was a fruitful experience although it’s tiring :)

PeiLu
I have learnt that we should do everything at the last minute as it would be very rush and everything would not be done at its best. but i was very impressed by the stage management team. they manage to meet mdm aneesah's request of having all the props done within the weekend so that it would be ready for the full dress rehearsal on monday. the pubility team was not slacking also, daryl managed to do a really nice design of the flyers. i think that the class production went very successfully and all the class' hard work is paid off. Nice Job Everyone! :P

ChuanJie
The class play was like 15 minutes yet we props team spent about 1 week or more to complete all the props for the class play. Even though some of us slack in the starting but we still manage to overcome that obstacle and finish all the props that is needed for the play, despite all the rehearsals we had, we still made some mistakes during the play. But that doesn't stop us from finishing the whole play.

YongZhi
Even though the secondary one students said many negative stuffs and were very rude towards us when we were publicing our class play, we did not give up and managed to publicize our class play to all the secondary one classes. I learnt that we need the courage and also the creatitivity to publicize. Even though its just pasting flyers, it is still an important job. I learnt that no matter how big or small the job is, every job is still important. I learnt that we must have time management so that we won't have to rush everything as it is tiring and stressful. If the class did not fool around in the past, we would have more time to reherse and also improve our play. Winning is not important. It is the process which is the most important.

Ellene
I think that the outcome of our class play was great. Everyone had worked hard and put in lots of efforts to produce such great results. We had won the praises of many teachers and fellow students. The process of preparing for the class play was tough as many of us did not take the play seriously, resulting in us preparing things at the eleventh hour. It is amazing that even with last minute work, our play turned out to be better than expected! I believe that so long as we have done our best, we will be very comforted. This is the first time I have actually seen our class work together towards a goal. :D

Desmond
I feel very honoured to be able to take part in this class drama production. We had to be united in order to put up a good drama but we did not really work together at first and i was fooling around during the group meetings. I have learned that teamwork and respect is very important in a major project like this. If we did not work together as a team, we will not be able to come up with the best idea and the best solution for each problem we face. We should respect each other and listen to what the others have to say before we comment on his speech. If we interupt every word he says, we will not be able to complete the project even if we are given thousand of years for it. Having the teamwork and respect is a MUST for a project this important. Our class had very little time to prepare as we had to change our script but when we knew we did not have enough time to make a fool out of ourselves, we started to become serious. Planning the time well is needed for this production. Luckily, we had planned our time well and we had produced quite a magnificent play. I felt very delighted that i am able to participate in the act even though it was only a minor role. We must not underestimate this role as if nobody wanted to take this role, we may notbe able to finish the play. It was a good experience and i really hope that our class wins as all of us gave in our best.

WuHan
I think that the class production has changed many of us. When we were planning on the production; many of us were not serious about it and were playing around and even during the first rehearsal we were still fooling around at backstage but after we had gone through all this, I noticed that many of us were very serious during our last rehearsal as we all knew that we were running short of time. What amused me was our final production on stage performing to the rest of the school, I thought we could not even change scenes properly, with the actors coming on the stage at the right timing, but we did! Everything went on smoothly. Although I only played as father in only 2 scenes, I was very honoured to represent the class. But all on top of that I think that we had fun doing it all as a class, don’t we?

YiLing
I feel contented and happy at the end product of our class production. We've all learnt alot through this experience that we'll experience no more than once. The getting ready and rehearsals were never easy. We lacked time and everything was in a rush, but we still manage to come up with a fantastic play through the teamwork and hardwork of all 2e2 pupils. I've learnt that no matter what we do, teamwork is still the most important quality we must all have to complete a task, be it big or small. Beign able to work with the class was indeed a wonderful thing. Great experienced gained. :)

Danial

I am proud that I am in the production. We had encountered many problem in the process of making the production a success. Most of us fooled around and thought that the production was still a long time to go. We ended up being behind scheduled. Everyone slowly got their priorities right and we manage to get back on track. As an actor, i had a problem trying to remember my lines during the last minute and get my tone right. I managed to pull through with the help of Mdm Annesah and Mdm Nisha. If it wasn't for them, we would have not been able to get much done. I think we mange to put up one good performance. We learnt teamwork work as a class and we also learnt that we should "NEVER SAY MATI".

Hidaya

Indeed, the class production had turned out pretty amazingly.we were 'lectured' many times at first, but soon everyone did their roles properly.i saw that out teacher and students had a hard time getting ready for the play.we really owe the success of the producton to them.it was a great experience as i had learned quite alot throughout the whole process of putting up the class play. teamwork, cooperation and time management are the few main elements that are most important in putting up the class production. even though i was one of the actresses that appeared only in one particular scene, i do enjoy working together with the other casts.

Afifah

i think that this class drama production is a huge success.not only in helping the students {us} contribute and practise teamwork, it also trains us in taking responsibility in all that we do; when we all were assigned to our respective groups. The actors had the one of the biggest responsibilities in ALL of the groups. Without them the drama production wouldn't have done any better. The publicity team also did a good job in getting votes from the secondary ones for our play. The props were also fantastic! Hopefully we can have more of this kinds of projects. It is like a bonding session with the whole class. This kind of projects are very interactive. More of this kind of project is very good! GOOD JOB 2E2!

QingXi

I feel that making a drama production was not easy as others think .There must be team work and cooperation in the team. I was in the props team and I learnt a lot of things through the process of making the drama. When we just started doing the props, I was not cooperative with the team. But when I saw that time was running out for making the props , I started to help out. Finally, the drama production has ended successfully. Although I made a few mistake , none of my classmates blame me for it . Through this drama production , I have learnt a lot . I feel this is a truthfully a very meaningful experience.

JoonKiat

This class production has definately strengthened the bonds and changed my views of my other classmates. At first, I thought that our play would end up as a big disaster as Danial was one of the main characters and my impression of him was quite bad and I thought he would fool around. Surprisingly, he spent all his free time trying to memorise his script and I am greatly impressed. I feel that our class production is a success even though we only completed the script a week before the acual day and we were able to see our fruits of labour at the end of the play. This is all thanks to our strong team spirit and determination. Even if we don't manage to win the prize I will still feel proud of our work.

Benjamin

I felt honoured to be part of the class drama production. At first many of us are not serious about the class production and were fooling around, even playing backstage during the first rehearsal. After several scoldings from Mdm Aneessah, we managed to get our priorities right and get back on schedule. Despite the fact that there were many slipups during the rehearsals, the actors managed to pull it off during the 15 minutes production. I have also learnt that teamwork is vital to the success of this production and we should not push responsibilities to one another.

Eugene

From this drama production,I have finally realised how hard it was to be an actor and produce a good show for the audience.I have learnt alot from this and the problems we encountered were numerous but we still overcame them and we did a great show for the Secondary Ones to see.Although there were quite a few people whom were not serious,we still manage to finish this production with the help of Mdm Aneesah, without her,our class production would not be as good as we had done.If she was not there, the class might just fool around and forget that we were in the middle of rehearsing. The effort and hardwork we put in rehearsing and stuff has paid off with a great show for the audience to enjoy. This is production has made our class work as one!And all the groups have put all their effort to do their jobs!

Fabian

Our class show turn out to be amazing but nobody except us know what is behind it .I have learnt that do not do things last minute and do not slack or else everything will be affected .I also gain confident and courage as i participate.I remembered how panic we were when we haven't finish the class blog one month before the class play. This time I really experience what is late work. I also tried to help the publicity team but it is not easy. I also hope that i will not be that shy as i dare not to say anything when i am standing in front of the whole class. Daryl gave me a chance to present in front. It is not good as i say only a few word but with the help of Daryl, they promise to vote for our class!

JunJie

I think that being an actor is not as easy as it looks. You will must have a good memory to momorise the script, full of emotions and last but not least, the courage to act in front of a group of audience. After i have been an actor, i learnt that i must be serious when acting and not to play a fool. If one thing goes wrong, thats the end of our show. So, in order to do a good job, i have told myself to be focused, and give the best i have for my class. And i made it, i finished my line without making any mistake and we did well. It may not be the best play, but i know that i have done my best and i am proud of my class for putting in so many effort. Thank you all who have made the play a huge success!

MinSein

This production is a huge success and we performed our hearts out on the stage. I was a member of the props team which was lead by Chuan Jie. Thanks to his nagging and fussiness, we managed to complete our necessary props in a very short time. I think the mascots and posters by our publicity team was a job well done too. The class productions therefore received magnificent responses from both the teachers and the students. I have learnt what’s the meaning of “99% perspiration, 1% inspiration” by Einstein throughout this meaningful experience.

Samantha

Through this class drama production, I've learned a lot. I realised that it is not easy to put up a play. Being a scriptwriter, it is not easy as it seems to write up a line for every actor. Although my second part was just being a spectator, I was nervous on stage. It was an excellent learning experiance and has benefitted me a lot. It has increased my self-confidence. At first we were taking things slowly, until we realised that we had lack of time then we started rushing. Being united solved the problem, all getting ready, rushing in and out. Great one! :D

Elijah

We went through a lot by doing this play. Firstly we had to make a new script 3 weeks before the production as the previous one was boring and uninteresting. After that was done, we had the painful task of making the many props we needed. Rehearsals were held 3 times a day but our hard work paid off when we got first prize! 1 lesson I have learned is that teamwork results in success! EEEEEYAY!!!

Nicholas

I realise that producing a drama production is not as simple as we thought. Its requires alot of co-operation and patience to get work done. Not only was the drama production a success, but it also helped us to know one another more. I enjoyed almost every part of the drama production as we put in a lot of effort. Even though i only acted in a small scene, i feel great to even contribute just a little.

Shawn

It's really a fruitful experience for both me and my classmates. The work we are tasked to do is not really as simple as it seems, as the planning and the writing of the scripts took up a lot of our time. However, I'm really proud of what we had put up for the school, as we were quite serious about the rehearsals though we wasted a lot of thing playing at the early rehearsals, I'm glad that everyone knew the seriousness of the entire procedure eventually. Everyone cooperated really well with one another, to ensure this was a success. I also learnt that everyone in this play is very important, we cannot afford to lose anyone in the production, if not the play will not be as efficient as it should be. I want to thank the props team as they gave their all in making the necessary props, forking out money and time for this class production. After what we have achieved, I feel honored to be one of the actors, as I'm acting out something my classmates put in their hearts and souls with. I really hope that there will be much more of such events for us to showcase our talent and creativity. In conclusion, we deserved the winning title of the play after so much hard work put in for that short 15 minutes for our peers.

Clifton

I think that it is a great sucess acheived by our class on putting up a drama performance. It is also a meaningful experience to us. I think we really put a magnificent drama performance to the lower secondary. Being part of a member of the publicity, i learnt lots of valueable lessons while going through the whole drama. I learnt about teamwork. Without team work, i do not think that it will be a sucess on putting up the drama performance. I also learnt about time management. We must do our task and complete the task on time. I learnt how to use my time properly and not waste any precious time.

YiRen

I feel that the class production was a sucess even though we were faced with many set backs during the practices and preperations. We managed to pull through all the set backs through determination and teamwork and came out with a wonderful performance that earned us the 1st prize. I've learnt that when we are doing a group production we must have teamwork and we must be able to co-operate with each other so that we can acheive a greater result.

SenMian

Being in the props team, time was running against us. After changing the script just one week before the play, we really had to buck up. We put in extra effort to finish the props, by staying back almost all of the days. With the numerous scoldings from the teacher and the team leader, the whole group managed to finish the props on time. This was also due to the effort of the other members from other groups. Some actors even helped us, though they had to cope with the new script. During the rehearsals, we had an advantage over the other classes. We used the microphones which were credited to the stage management team. Also, our english teacher and literature teacher had put in extra effort to stay back with us to rehease.
On the day of the performance, we did our very best, and managed to clinch the first prize. This was not just the effort of the actors or props team, but of the whole class. Without the wonderful advertisement hand-drawn by our lit rep Daryl, or the the scrip writers, the play wouldn't have been a success. "The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary" by Vidal Sassoon. Work is obviously tiring. But if there is teamwork, the task will be divded, and the success will be doubled. Having said all this, I think that the class play was a very experiencing event. It bonds us together, and also, we learn to communicate with our classmates better. The effort is tiring, but worth it.

Dante,

Thtough the play i learnt how to cooperate with the class for once =.=,and the diffcult part was the time when i had to enter on the stage and from where to enter and stop at which part of the stage...and also experience the feeling of facing sec 1 and 2 audience isn't easy i just treated it as my last time on stage performing and give it my all.
